What a Non-Custodial Volume Bot Should Never Ask You For

A non-custodial volume bot never takes control of your wallet. With PumpCrest, the only transaction you make is one fee transfer, sent from a wallet you control, at the exact amount the console shows. There is no seed phrase to enter, no private key to share, no wallet to connect and nothing else to sign. Trading runs from fresh session wallets that the fee already funds.

The one-transfer rule

  • Your side of a session is one transfer of the fee, for example 2.5 SOL on a 250 SOL target.
  • A seed phrase, private key, wallet connection or extra signature is never part of the process.
  • Anyone asking for those things, under any name or logo, is not part of a real session.
  • Checking the address, the amount and the mint takes about a minute and is the habit that matters most.

What does non-custodial mean for a volume session?

Custody means control. A custodial service holds your funds or your keys and acts on your behalf; a non-custodial one never does. For a volume session that line is easy to draw, because the service needs nothing of yours to trade. Orders come from session wallets created fresh for each run and funded out of the fee. Your own wallet never becomes part of the execution.

That is also why you send only the fee and no trading capital. The flat 1% on target volume already covers session wallet funding, swap fees, network fees, Jito tips and token account rent. A 250 SOL target means a 2.5 SOL transfer, and that transfer is the whole relationship between your wallet and the session.

What is the only thing you sign?

  1. Paste the mint

Enter the token's contract address. The console reads public metadata, name, ticker and image, so you can confirm it. No wallet is involved.

  2. Shape the session

Choose wallets, order band, length and engagement settings. The fee updates as you go. Still no wallet.

  3. Send one transfer

The console shows a payment address, a Solana Pay QR code and the exact amount. You send it from your own wallet. This is the only signature in the whole process.

  4. Watch it confirm

The console watches the payment address on-chain and shows the confirmed transaction with a Solscan link.

Notice what is missing: no connect button, no approval pop-up, no message to sign to prove ownership. You can open the browser console and build a whole session without installing anything.

Which requests should you refuse from any tool or contact?

These apply to any tool, any website and anyone who messages you offering help, not only to us. A genuine service has no reason to ask for any of them, so a polite no is always the right answer.

  • Your seed phrase or recovery words. Whoever has them has your wallet, on every device, for good.
  • Your private key in any format, including a file export or a QR code.
  • Signing a transaction or message you do not understand. If your wallet shows an approval you did not expect, reject it.
  • Remote desktop or screen sharing so someone can "fix" a problem. Nobody needs to see your screen to start a session.
  • A "verification" deposit, a test payment, or a second transfer to "activate" or "release" a session. The amount on your payment screen is the only payment.
  • Installing an extension, app or script to make the bot work. The console runs in the browser with no install.
  • Unprompted direct messages from "support." Support for this product works over email, so a stranger who writes to you first on a social app is not it.

How do you check the address and amount before sending?

A short routine before every payment catches nearly every slip. It takes about a minute.

  1. Check the amount against the math: 1% of target volume, plus 40% x density if creator follows are on.
  2. Scan the Solana Pay QR code with your wallet and compare the prefilled amount with the one on screen.
  3. Compare the address in your wallet's confirmation screen with the console: first six characters, last six, then a chunk from the middle.
  4. Send from a wallet you control, so you can find the transfer under your own address afterwards.
  5. Never take the address from a message, an email or a screenshot. Use the payment screen of the session you built.
Expected transfer amounts. If your payment screen shows something different, stop and recheck the session settings first.

What happens after you send the fee?

Once the transfer lands, the console shows the confirmed transaction with a link to Solscan, where you can see the sender, the receiver and the amount for yourself. The session is then queued, and support confirms the start window. Saved projects in your browser list each order as awaiting payment, running or finished, so you can always see where a session stands.

The same openness applies to the orders. Every swap settles on-chain from the session wallets, and the console reports volume, transactions, holders, comments and favorites from what actually settled. Our guide to verifying a session on Solscan shows how to read those results independently.

What stays your responsibility?

Non-custodial cuts both ways. We never touch your wallet, which also means a few parts of the process live with you.

  • Pasting the right mint. The console shows name, ticker and image, but copycat tokens can reuse all three. Copy the address from your own token's Pump.fun page and compare characters, not logos.
  • Choosing the settings. Wallets, order band, length and add-ons set the target and the fee. Once a session starts, changes go through support and the fee is not refundable.
  • Your wallet's security. Keep the seed phrase offline and your wallet software up to date.
  • Local rules. Rules around token trading differ by country, and nothing here is legal advice.

A short pre-launch checklist helps with the first two, especially if more than one person on your team touches the setup.

How do you reach real support?

PumpCrest support runs by email at support@pumpcrest.com. There is no phone line, so a call from someone claiming to be support is not us. To stop or change a running session, email the session details; orders that already settled stay on-chain. The contact page lists the same address.

If a payment request ever feels rushed, slow down. A genuine session has no reason to hurry you into sending before you have checked.

Questions and answers

Why does the console not ask me to connect a wallet?

Because it has nothing to do with your wallet. Connecting is how a site requests signatures and reads balances, and a session needs neither. Trading runs from fresh session wallets funded out of the fee, and the payment is a plain transfer you start from your own wallet app by scanning the QR code or pasting the address. Skipping the connection removes a whole category of approval prompts.

What should I do if I sent the wrong amount?

Stop before sending anything else. Email support at support@pumpcrest.com with the transaction link from Solscan and the session details, and wait for a reply. Do not send a second transfer to top up or correct it unless support asks for that in reply to your own email, and ignore anyone who contacts you first offering to sort it out.

Does the shareable config link expose anything sensitive?

It carries session settings so a teammate can review the setup. Since a session never involves your seed phrase, your private key or a wallet connection, there is no secret of yours for the link to hold. Still, read the payment address from your own payment screen, never from a link or a message someone forwards to you.

Can I run a session on a token I did not create?

Yes. The console accepts any public Pump.fun mint, and you never need the creator's keys or approval. What shifts to you is accuracy: copycat tokens often share names and images, so confirm the mint address character by character against the token page you trust before you pay for anything.

How do I tell a real payment screen from a copy?

Open the console yourself from the address bar or a bookmark, not from a link in a message. Your own session shows the mint you pasted, the settings you chose and an amount that matches the fee math above. A page asking you to pay for a session you never configured is not yours to pay, however official it looks.

Start a session with one transfer

Open the console, confirm your mint and settings, check the amount against the fee math, then send a single transfer from your own wallet. No connection, no keys, no extras.
